Working with a customer recently we upgraded VCD to v10.0 and built out to a 3 node node cluster with embedded DB. This cluster was fronted by a new load balancer. The UI login page was presented but on logging in we were faced with the following error:

Logging into each cell in the cluster directly worked fine.

Resolution

In short it was because the public addresses needed to be updated within the Provider General settings to incorporate the correct addresses for accessing via the Load Balancer.
