I was onsite at a customer recently who had installed vRealize Operations Manager. 7.5 along with the SDDC Management Pack v6.

The SDDC Management Health Overview dashboard correctly picked up the other SDDC products installed in the environment; vCenter, vSAN NSX-T, vRLI, vROPs, but that the heatmap widgets were not displaying information and saying that they were not configured.

The SDDC MP doesnt require much configuration so this seemed odd.

The “fix” for this was to enable both the vRA Management Pack and the End Point Operations Management Pack, both of which are disabled in vROPS 7.5 as the SDDC MP is coded to look for objects that are only created when the other MPs are activated.. On restarting the SDDC MP adapters the dashboard widgets display as normal. At that point we could then disable the vRA and EPOPs MPs as they were not needed.
