Fusion Screen Resolution

This is one of those very annoying issues that occur every now and again when Windows 10 or Fusion 8 updates itself. Usually it takes me a bit of searching to find the cure so I am putting it here for future use.

In short after the update the Windows 10 machine goes to an extremely small resolution making it very hard to read what is on screen. You can change the screen resolution in Windows 10 but when you navigate to another window on your Mac or restart Windows it returns to the same small resolution.

Resolution

The resolution is pretty easy:

In Fusion select the VM and go to “Edit virtual machine settings”
Select “Display” and Uncheck the box next to “Accelerate 3D graphics”
